Build Description

This build contains one or more skills that have been changed because of skill updates. This may cause an increase or decrease in the build's performance, so check the skill descriptions carefully. If this is your build, editing it will remove this message.

This build is fairly versitile and can run almost anywhere where Chilblains is not a problem. I personally use it for running chests. You will need a 20% longer enchantment duration weapon.

Common Usage

If you need the longest possible Shadow Form duration, this is the way to go. You'll get ~40 or ~60 seconds total.

  1. Deadly Paradox
  2. Arcane Echo
  3. Shadow Form
  4. Illusion of Haste
  5. Recast Illusion of Haste after it wears off
  6. Shadow Form (echo) should now be blinking, recast it now
  7. Recast Illusion of Haste and the original Shadow Form+Deadly Paradox as necessary

If you just need ~20 seconds of invincibility, save your Arcane Echo for when you need it, since it has a 30 second recharge. I use this most often when I pop a chest where I know I can open the chest and safely outrun everything in the area within ~20 seconds.

  1. Deadly Paradox
  2. Shadow Form
  3. Illusion of Haste

Sometimes you don't even need Shadow Form to get through an area, such as running past a pack of warriors or rangers. Illusion of Haste and Distortion should be enough to get you through.

Notes

  • This build can work without Deadly Paradox for Factions+Prophecies only players, you just won't be able to chain Shadow Form together more than twice without a lucky half recharge time on it
  • Illusion of Weakness is extra insurance for those times when Shadow Form has worn off and you still have guys following you
  • Death's Charge can be used to save some ground or to save you from being surrounded
  • If you cast Shadow Form and immediately follow with Illusion of Haste, Shadow Form will begin blinking after you recast Illusion of Haste once it completely wears off
  • Once Shadow Form wears off while using a 20% longer enchantment duration mod, you completely miss out on the echoed version
  • Deadly Paradox must be activated before Arcane Echo is finished casting or it will end prematurely
