Our general rules apply to the entire site.
Only uploaded avatars are supported at this time. They must be 80x80 or under and smaller than 5,000 bytes. Size restrictions may be subject to change.
Your friends list lets you keep track of your friends on this site. In addition to having them listed in a quick address book for easy messaging, they may also have access to certain aspects of your profile that are set to private (e.g. on the Guild Wars site, private builds are viewable by anyone you've added as a friend).
Should you forget your password, you can reset it by answering a secret question that you yourself write. When you write a secret question, it shouldn't be easy for someone to guess if they know a little about you. You can reset your secret question and its password any time you are logged in.
After you sign-up for an account, you will need to activate it before you can login. To activate your account, you will need to sign-up with a valid email address. Activation instructions will be sent to that address. If spam filters have eaten your activation email, you can have the activation email resent.
If you forget your username or password, you can still get your account back. If you've forgotten your username, you can have it emailed to you, provided you still have access to the email address you signed up with. If you've forgotten your password, you can get back into your account by answering your own secret question and knowing which email address you signed up with.
There's nothing worse than having your account stolen, game or otherwise. We offer these important safety tips.
Even though we store passwords in a format that's one way encrypted (that means even if people get access to our passwords, they can't be unencrypted), we have no way to protect you from weak passwords. The best passwords are ones that are easy to remember, but difficult to guess, and are not words found in a dictionary.
